We’re already a week and a half into the month of October, which means it’s time to get down to business. The business of Halloween.
Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. Costume parties and pumpkin carving contests? Amazing! Free candy for all? Sounds great! A chance to scare the bejeezus out of trick-or-treaters? Count me in!
You’ll never see me pass up an opportunity to dress up like a pirate, watch my husband paint himself green like the Incredible Hulk, or utilize my limited culinary skills to prepare mummy hot dogs for a party. Nor will you see me miss a chance to combine two of my great loves, books and Halloween. Consequently, this month’s theme for Angela’s Library is:
Over the next three weeks I’ll share a series of posts about books that feature haunted houses, vampires, zombies, and the things that go bump in the night.
