Chapter: 1065
Tammy up. Her face became ghastly pale.

“What?”

“For now, we can only place the patient under strict observation and see what will happen after tonight. If the blood clot dissipates automatically, then he will be fine. But if it doesn't, then I'm afraid you'll have to prepare yourself mentally for the worst."

After he was done talking, the doctor put on his mask again. Then he turned around and walked into the operating room.

Susan stood still as tears streamed down her face. Her eyes were bloodshot.

Tammy couldn't hold on any longer. There was a knock on the floor.

Susan quickly checked to see what had caused it. Then, she realized that Tammy had just passed out on the floor.

"Mom!"

About ten minutes later, a nurse exited the emergency room and walked towards Susan who was waiting outside.

"Do not worry, Miss Salazar. Your mother fainted because of hypoglycemia. She will recover fully after lying down and taking some rest."

On hearing those words, Susan heaved a sigh of relief and said in a hoarse tone, “Thank you."

Having noticed Susan's pale face, and being aware of the news that had gone viral on the Internet for a couple of days now, the nurse felt sorry for her.

“Miss Salazar, you should take good care of yourself anyway."

The nurse took the medical sheets and left to deal with other stuff.

There was a mirror next to the emergency room. Susan looked up and saw herself in it. Her face was bloodless, and her hair had become so messy. That was definitely not the appearance of a rich lady.

When Susan touched her face, she felt sad.

How could this possibly be?

How did everything change so quickly?

Susan staggered as tears kept falling down her cheeks drop by drop.

She became resentful and refused to accept defeat.

She heard a sound out of the blue. A message had been sent to her phone.

Susan came to her senses and reached out for her phone. Then she looked at the content. It was a picture of a document.

She clicked on the photo. There was a bolded paragraph at the bottom which quickly attracted her attention.

"According to the test, the probability of the father-son relationship between Victor and Joey is

99.99 percent."
