Chapter: 1418
"I I'm fine." Wallace attempted to relax. He must have been overthinking and he now believed that the individual in front of him was not that similar to Shelia.

He studied her again. They had several key differences.

Wallace unscrewed a bottle of water and was ready to drink it when he saw the brand name.

This brand was identical to the one he gave to Shelia.

He let go, and the water bottle crashed to the floor, wetting the floor.

Rachel cocked an eyebrow and glanced at the bottle as it rolled to the floor. The brand name was not lost on her. Shock crept across her face a bit. After all, one couldn't find many bottles of this particular type of mineral water in Apliaria.

Before she left, though, she recalled Quintin's hint of a surprise.

That was most likely it.

Rachel stooped to pick up the bottle and set it down on the table.

"Mr. Finch, you may tell me straight if you don't like me and don't want to collaborate with me."

When Wallace heard what Rachel had to say, he was still in a trance.

“What ?"

"Doing something so obviously foolish is annoying. You don't have to.

I won't be a time waster. Now that you've made it clear that you're unhappy working with me, we may part ways."

Rachel turned around and seemed to depart after making that statement.

Wallace, seeing she was going to depart, hastily explained, "No, no.

It seems like you misinterpreted me. I apologize. That wasn't my intention!"

Even if he had misgivings about Rachel, Wallace couldn't afford to give a proper discernment as time was of the essence.

Rachel halted on her steps and turned to look at him.

Meeting Rachel's gaze, Wallace drew a deep breath and said, “I'm sorry. It was rude of me. I hope you can accept my apology. To show my sincerity, I can increase the reward by five percent."

Whether he wanted it or not, Rachel was his only hope.

With a serious look, Wallace bowed deeply and added, “I really need your help."

Looking at Wallace's contrite expression, Rachel narrowed her eyes.

She got even more curious as to why he would lower his head and plead with her. Was Odin so horrible that Wallace couldn't even dare to fight against him?

Meanwhile, in the Bennet family's house, Hector and Joey were in the middle of a negotiation.
