Chapter: 1508
They tried their best to be considerate and treat him right, but
Victor just wouldn't cooperate with them.
Dewayne wanted to defend himself, but he couldn't under the circumstances. He glanced at the door to the ICU and asked Carson,
"What did the doctor say? How is he?"
“Not good," Carson said with a serious look, something Dewayne rarely saw.
If Carson could look so serious, then it meant Victor was in really bad shape. Dewayne gulped and asked, "How about some other way to save him? Did the doctor say anything?"
Carson shook his head.
“All we can do is wait."
ALL Victor had to do was open his eyes.
Once he woke up, all would be well.
Unexpectedly, Hector hit both Dewayne and Carson with his cane.
This time, none of them tried to dodge.
“I understand that he is stupid. But what about you? Are you stupid too?" Hector scolded.
"I told you not to do that, right? But what did you do? You didn't listen to me because you are all adults now, right? So what if Sullivan Group was gone? Huh? What could Odin do?"
Carson and Dewayne looked down at their feet and let him scold them.
They both knew why Hector was in such a state. He was just really worried about Victor. Besides, Hector was right. They should have stopped Victor, not just let him do what he wanted.
At the airport, Joey yawned as he stood with Rachel at the exit.
Mother and son waited and waited, but they saw no sign of Quintin.
"Mommy, maybe Uncle Quintin didn't take this flight. He could have woken up late and missed the flight, right?" Joey asked, looking up at his mother curiously.
Rachel was equally confused.
At this time, someone dressed in a cartoon costume came out from the exit with a suitcase in hand.
Joey glanced at the person and looked away. He just kept looking at the exit and counting the people that came out.
"Mommy, there's no one else left. They've all come out. Why don't we call Uncle Quintin and ask him what happened?"
Rachel nodded and took out her phone to call Quintin.
They made a deal last night. She knew that Quintin would never stand her up for no reason. Something must have happened for him not to be here.
