Chapter: 1643
No one knew where she went until a few months before you returned. After Rosa fled, the Moran family was deeply ashamed. They repeatedly apologized to the Scott family. Over the past three years, Libby, Rosa's half-sister, frequently visited the Scott family to keep Carson's grandmother company.

After Rosa's return, the Moran family paid another visit to the Scott family, urging them to call off the engagement between Carson and Rosa. They proposed that Carson should instead marry Libby.

Once the Scott family consulted Carson and received his approval, they wasted no time in making preparations for the engagement party.

Unexpectedly, the paparazzi managed to snap some photographs of Rosa picking up a child from school. On viewing the child's photograph, Carson became certain that the child was his, and demanded a paternity test.

The paternity results confirmed Carson's suspicion, the child is indeed his.

Now, Carson seeks custody of the child, but Rosa doesn't agree. This puts the Moran family in quite a dilemma."

What a dramatic story, Rachel thought.

After hanging up the phone, Rachel walked out of the ladies' room.

Unexpectedly, as soon as she reached the door, she ran into a well-dressed Libby.

Libby wore a cream-colored gown and had her hair in an elegant updo. She did look graceful and feminine, as everyone said. Through her conversation with Andy last time, Rachel learned more about the Moran sisters.

Libby and Rosa were half-sisters. They had the same father. Libby's mother died of illness shortly after her birth. To comfort Libby, her father remained single until she turned three years old. He met Rosa's mother and fell in love with her. However, he didn't marry Rosa's mother right away because he was afraid Libby might not accept the relationship well. Rosa's mother got pregnant with her, and they lived in a small villa outside of the Moran family's house until she was five years old. Her father would only visit and spend the night with them occasionally within those years.

When Rosa turned five, her father couldn't keep the secret from Libby anymore. He didn't want Rosa to remain hidden, so he told Libby everything and decided to marry Rosa's mother. However, on the day of the wedding,

Libby rebelled against her father's decision and locked herself up in her room. Following that incident, she accidentally fell down a flight of stairs and hurt her leg, leaving her hospitalized for a month.

Feeling guilty about what happened to Libby, her father made the drastic decision to leave Rosa in the small villa, where she would be staying alone for the next thirteen years. When Rosa reached eighteen, Libby finally allowed her to live with them. It was only then that Rosa officially became a member of the family.

From age five to eighteen, Rosa practically grew up alone.

Libby's father was always busy with work. Perhaps it was because of guilt, but since Libby's accident, Rosa's mother had decided to take care of her stepdaughter. Even when Libby's condition improved, Rosa's mother stay behind to assist Libby because she developed difficulty in walking as a result of the accident.

When she heard the full story, Rachel thought it was ridiculous.

Rosa had her parents, yet she lived as if she were an orphan.

"Hi." Libby greeted Rachel with a smile.

Rachel lifted an eyebrow in surprise. She didn't expect Libby to come up and greet her.

After all, nobody could recognize her as Rachel since she disguised herself.

"I'm Libby Moran." Libby regarded Rachel curiously.
