Chapter: 1758
When Carson felt her grip, he reflexively shook off her hand.
“Don't touch me."
Rosa was caught off guard by his forceful reaction. She staggered a few steps back and felt like her wrist was about to dislocate.
Before she could react, he was about to walk out again, muttering about finding the manager.
"Carson, get a hold of yourself. Do you know how embarrassing you are right now?" Rosa was so desperate to stop Carson that she stepped forward to block his way, ignoring her painful wrist.
Carson stopped and stared at her with deep-set eyes.
His gaze made Rosa feel uneasy. She turned away to avoid his eyes and said, “I'll call a taxi to take you back."
As soon as she said this, she took out her phone to book a taxi.
However, her phone was suddenly snatched away.
Then, Carson's voice rang out above her head.
"Rosa."
Rosa froze upon hearing Carson calling her name. At the thought that Carson had recognized her, she became inexplicably nervous.
She pursed her lips, thinking about how to respond.
Carson spoke again.
"Why?"
Rosa was stunned for a moment. She looked at him in confusion.
"What?"
Carson stared at her face with tenderness in his eyes. But he held her wrist so tightly that she gasped in pain.
“Rosa, why him?"
Rosa winced, but she endured the pain.
"What are you talking about?
Who is he? Carson, you're hurting me. Let go of me.”
“I'm asking you! Why?" Carson asked, acting like a madman.
Rosa frowned. She pressed her lips into a straight line to endure the pain on her wrist.
