Chapter: 1790
Rachel had been to the Gibson Mansion before, so she was familiar with it. After she drove into the gate, she went straight to the parking lot, where she also parked the car that night.
Mason had been waiting there for a long time. When he saw that Rachel was the one driving Alberto's car, he was stunned for a moment. But he quickly reacted and walked forward.
Rachel got out of the driver's seat and turned to the passenger seat to help Alberto. But she saw that he had opened the door and sat in the wheelchair. He was helped by Mason and another servant.
"Miss Bennet, I didn't expect you to be the one to send Mr. Gibson back," Mason greeted Rachel out of politeness.
"We're heading the same way, so I drop him here." As Rachel spoke, her eyes unconsciously fell on Alberto. But she immediately Looked away.
Mason said, “Thank you, Miss Bennet. You must be tired from driving all the way here. Would you like to go in and have some coffee?"
Rachel looked at the time on her phone and said, "Thank you, but I have to go. I have something to deal with."
“Okay... Mason turned to Alberto. “We won't delay you, then. Be careful on the road, Miss Bennet."
Rachel nodded at Mason and looked at Alberto.
The servant was carefully covering his legs with a blanket. He must have sensed her gaze because he raised his head and looked at her.
Their eyes met.
For a moment, Rachel felt she was looking at a familiar face again, especially his eyes.
When she came back to her senses, she pursed her Lips and said to him, "Mr. Gibson, I won't be back until tomorrow morning. Are you in a hurry to go back tonight?"
Alberto narrowed his eyes and said in a cold and deep voice, "No rush."
"Okay, then. If you are not in a hurry, I will pick you up tomorrow morning and let's go back together." Maybe because they came out together, Rachel subconsciously felt that they also had to go back together.
Alberto didn't say anything anymore. He just nodded in agreement.
Rachel smiled when she heard his affirmative reply. "Okay. I'm leaving now." Then she nodded at Mason, opened the door, and got in the car.
Mason returned to Alberto's side and smiled kindly. "Please drive safely, Miss Bennet."
“Okay, thank you."
Then, she immediately closed the door. She drove away in no time.
Mason stood next to Alberto, who was still staring in the direction where Rachel's car had left. It had been a while since the car disappeared from their sight, so Mason reminded, "Mr. Gibson, it's cold. Let's go inside."
Alberto seemed lost in thought. He didn't seem to hear Mason.
Mason reminded again, "Mr. Gibson, she has left."
"I know." Alberto withdrew his gaze and looked down at his legs.
