Chapter: 1803
Rosa turned to Rachel. "Shelia, do you want to come with us?"

Rachel didn't feel comfortable in lively scenes, so she shook her head. "No, thanks. I can stay here by myself. Don't worry about me."

"ALL right. Please wait for me here. I'll be back soon."

"Okay."

Rosa and Elliott went out with the staff. Rachel was left alone in the lounge. As soon as the door was closed, the lively room suddenly quieted down.

Rachel sat on the sofa, took out her phone, and opened her messages.

She hesitated for a moment before she finally typed a message.

"Mr. Gibson, are you home?"

Rachel sent the message. She stared at the screen of her phone for a while but received no reply.

She pursed her lips, lost in thought. In the end, she felt her message seemed a little abrupt. She wanted to cancel. But when she looked at it, she found it had been sent successfully two minutes ago.

Rachel closed the chat box, thinking out of sight, out of mind.

She thought everything was fine. She didn't realize that Alberto could affect her emotions.

Carson and Alberto were in the living room of the Gibson family's house.

“Are you sure about this?" Carson asked, leaning against the couch with his legs crossed. He looked at Alberto, who had already removed his mask.

Alberto didn't reply. He just picked up his coffee and took a sip.

But for Carson, Alberto's silence was the answer to his question. He folded his hands behind his back and chuckled softly. "You know what?

I always thought you were only kidding when you said that Sullivan Group didn't matter to you. After all, you had put too much effort into it. But looking at you now, I can say that you mean it."

Back then, Alberto's hatred towards the Sullivan family was repressed because his grandmother was still alive.

But after his grandmother passed away, no one could stop him anymore.

He could no longer suppress his hatred. On the surface, Sullivan Group looked prosperous. But only the people inside the company knew it was getting worse day by day.

And Alberto never thought of saving it.

“But it's actually good. You will eventually get even with the Sullivan family," Carson continued.

"Um," Alberto grunted emotionlessly.

At this moment, the phone in his pocket vibrated. He took it out and looked at the screen. When he saw that it was a message from Rachel, he was stunned for a moment. Then he clicked it open.
