Alberto's eyebrows twitched slightly, feeling a pulse in his temples.

He turned to look at Allen and asked, “What is it?"

"It's not a big deal," Allen began, realizing he was on the verge of crossing a line by disturbing Alberto's rest repeatedly. Yet he couldn't shake the feeling of harboring a significant secret. This secret weighed heavily on his heart and was impossible to forget or divulge, leaving him feeling uncomfortable.

Putting on an innocent smile, he continued, "It's just one last question, I promise. Alberto, have you noticed any changes since you woke up?"

The light in Alberto's eyes faded. He grasped the essence of the inquiry. After a brief silence, he responded, "No."
