Right after he spoke, he pulled out his phone, which had been on silent. It was only then that he saw a message from Shelia.

As he read it, Jacquetta's voice floated over. "She's gone back to her room. Didn't you know, Mr. Gibson?"

He hadn't known until he read Shelia's message.

"It looks like Shelia isn't feeling well. She was quite pale. I wanted to take her to the hospital, but she insisted she didn't need to go and returned to her room. I assumed she would have informed you," Jacquetta added, feigning ignorance.
