“Good morning, Miss Davis!" Kathryn stood there, waving two large brown paper bags with a bright smile. “I brought you the best breakfast in Greyfall."

The sight of Kathryn's smile helped Rachel shake off her morning grumpiness. She invited Kathryn in with a nod and noticed the breakfast Kathryn was holding.

“Don't you have class today? What are you doing here so early?"

Slipping out of her shoes, Kathryn shrugged. “I took some time off. I plan to take a break and then go back to school later. Miss Davis, am I bothering you?"

As she finished changing her shoes, Kathryn looked up just in time to see Rachel stifling a yawn.
