Chapter: 2412

Since Bart had dimmed some of the brighter lights, Kathryn didn't feel uncomfortable when she woke up. She propped herself up, feeling slightly groggy, her head spinning as though it was filled with paste. For a moment, she couldn't recall where she was.

“Are you awake?" Bart inquired. He had just finished reading a document, signed it, and looked up to see Kathryn sitting up, still appearing sleepy.

Kathryn was jolted by his voice.

She suddenly became fully awake, only then realizing she was in the office.

"Bart." Kathryn got up and walked towards him, unable to suppress a yawn.
