"I've been having these dreams and even seeing things at night." Alberto frowned. "They feel like they're parts of my past. In the moment, they seem so real, but when I wake up, I can't remember any details."

Humphrey raised his eyebrows, clearly surprised. "So you want to figure out what happened to you before, right?"

"Yes," Alberto answered quietly, his Adam's apple bobbing as he swallowed.

"I keep feeling like I've forgotten something really important."
