Intrigued, she watched him, her curiosity piqued. Craig, sensing her stare, turned and their eyes met. For a brief moment, he seemed surprised.

"Your medicine is ready." The pharmacist's gentle reminder brought Kathryn back to the present.

“Okay. Thank you," Kathryn replied, quickly looking away. She collected her medicine bag and was about to leave when Craig approached her.

"Craig! What a coincidence," Kathryn exclaimed, blinking up at him with a smile. Her eyes dropped to his bandaged arm. “What happened to your arm?"

Craig bit his lip and averted his gaze. "It's nothing. I... I just had a minor accident."
