"Your school transfer is complete. You can register next week."

Kathryn glanced at the bag he held, her surprise evident. She accepted the bag, nodding. "Okay, I understand."

Townsend peered into the room, noticing the piano cover ajar, and sighed. "Your mother never let the staff clean here. She preferred to do it herself." He hesitated before adding, "There's probably a lot of dust now. Should I have a maid tidy up?"
