"Miss Davis, here's my new plan. Please take a look!" Colin placed the document solemnly on her desk, pushing it towards her. His voice carried a hopeful note.

Rachel examined the proposal. This time, the flashy cover from the previous proposal had been replaced with a simpler one, which at least gave it the semblance of a serious document.

She flipped through the pages for an overview. The plan itself was solid, but she noted significant issues with the proposed investment strategies and funding amounts.

"What do you think, Miss Davis? I devoted a lot of time and energy to this version," Colin said, his voice carrying a mix of excitement and anticipation. "While you were away last week, I sought advice from many people and refined my ideas to craft what I believe is a perfect plan.”

Rachel nodded, closed the document, and handed it back to him. "Not bad."
