Nolan backed away from her to avoid her touch. The smile on his face had disappeared. "It seems that you're mistaken."

“What do you mean?" Jacquetta's frown deepened as she looked at Nolan, confused by his implication.

"In this cooperation, Mr. Gibson is the one in control," Nolan explained. "If you find this unfair, you are free to terminate the contract whenever you want."
