Rachel stood, inhaled deeply, grabbed her cup from the table, and walked out of the office. When she opened the door, the eyes of all the staff in the investment department followed her.

She slightly furrowed her brow and scanned the room, then proceeded to the break room and pressed the coffee machine's button. The coffee began to flow smoothly into her cup until it was full.

Colin watched Rachel from the doorway of the break room and sighed.

Then, grabbing his own cup, he hurried to the break room. Drawing close to Rachel, he whispered, "Miss Davis, what brought you out here?"

Without so much as lifting an eyebrow, Rachel stirred her coffee.
