Rachel quickly obscured her computer screen before looking up to see Colin at the door. "Yes, what is it?"

Colin nodded, then hesitated before stepping in and approaching the desk. "Miss Davis, do you recall that there's a welcome party next week?"

“Yes. What's the issue?" Rachel was momentarily taken aback, remembering that Colin had made a point of telling her about the welcome party some time ago.

"Just to remind you that it's scheduled for this Sunday," Colin said, scratching his head with a hint of hesitation.
