Rachel was the first to notice him.

"Humphrey!" she called out, her voice frail and barely above a whisper, yet her pale smile carried a rare warmth.

Humphrey returned her smile, offering a polite nod to acknowledge Alberto. He then approached Rachel's bedside, his voice gentle and comforting. "Don't strain yourself," he reminded her, noticing she was about to rise. “Stay lying down and rest."

Rachel nodded, a smile still playing on her lips, and asked, “Have you been busy lately? It feels like forever since I last saw you."
