His voice was a little raspy. “If anyone dares to look, I'll make sure they pay for it. This party is so boring; we might as well head home and find something more exciting to do."

Rachel's cheeks turned red, and she found herself wondering why this man was always so playful with her. His affection was both teasing and gentle.

It was simply because she hadn't been feeling well, so she had asked him to rest in the study for a few days. Yet, he flipped it around to make it her fault. She said, "How can you let Joey handle all the work by himself? If you keep pushing him like this, he'll break down eventually."

Alberto, however, didn't seem to care. “Our son needs training. I brought him into this world to help with the Load. He's still young; it's only fair he takes on more responsibility. Besides, I should take advantage of this time while I can still boss him around. Once he grows up, I won't be able to control him anymore."
