Chapter: 697
Unconsciously, she held her breath, and her heart beat even faster.

She was both nervous and scared.

"It's Victor," Quintin answered though gritted teeth.

In Sue Garden

The Maybach pulled over right in front of the villa.

Lukas materialized from inside the house to greet Victor. Seeing that

Victor was about to get out of the car, he walked up to him and said, "Mr. Sullivan, you're back. Have you had dinner yet? How about

I ask the chef to cook—"

Before he could finish his words, another figure hopped off the car.

That person was someone he least expected to pop before his eyes.

Lukas paused and called out with uncertainty, "Joe?"

“Hi.” Joey forced a smile and greeted Lukas. Obviously, he was not in a good mood, but he still maintained his politeness.

Lukas‘ mouth hung open in surprise.

“Is it really you? Joe, why are you here?"

Joe did not say anything but looked up at Victor. The latter was, after all, the one who brought him there.

Noticing that he was looking at him, Victor grew even more standoffish. He ignored Joey's probing eyes and instead ordered Lukas,

"Prepare a room for him. From today on, he'll be staying here for a period of time."

"Stay here? What happened?" That flabbergasted Lukas even more. He did not expect Joey to come back, much more with the fact that

Victor would let him stay here.

Lukas looked at Joey as if he was asking for confirmation. Joey, whose height just reached Victor's thigh, looked into his eyes and nodded in response.

"He's Odin's son," Victor said in a low voice.

Lukas' eyes went wide and he looked down at Joey, as if asking for consent.

Joey looked into his eyes and nodded.

Victor's eyes instantly darkened when he saw him nod in agreement. He turned and walked into the house, leaving Joey and Lukas standing there and looking at each other.

“Sir, how long are we going to stand here?" Joey asked after a while.
