Chapter: 736
"Yes, I had to! Or else he would have kept interrogating you."

"Joe! You silly boy! What if the basin had been filled with hot water?! Weren't you scared that you would get scalded? Don't ever do that again!" Rachel was both angry and touched. It was fortunate that the water was cold, or else Joey would have been seriously scalded.

“I was scared."

“He will never give up," Rachel interrupted him.

Joey frowned in confusion as he looked at her. He wasn't sure what she meant.

Rachel filled the bathtub with water and signaled him to get in.

Since it was cold today, there was a possibility that he would easily catch a cold. When she saw Joey today, she realized that he didn't look well. She thought he was frightened, but now she realized that he might be unwell.

"If I just run away like this, he won't stop searching for me.

Besides, it's not that bad yet. Victor doesn't have any proof that

I'm not Dr. Turner's assistant," Rachel explained calmly.

“But, Dr. Turner will be back soon.”

Rachel pinched his cheek lovingly and said, "Not necessarily."

“Why? What do you mean?"

Rachel raised her wrist and tapped on the watch. A file on Dr.

Turner popped up on the screen.

Quintin had just sent it to her.

Rachel had just finished reading it when she had been in a stalemate with Victor. Initially, she wasn't sure whether he would buy it or not. But her confidence grew once she read the file.

Because there was a familiar name in Dr. Turner's personal information.

Dr. Turner's teacher was Pearson Lee.

Pearson was a renowned medical expert in the International Health

Organization, and he owed Rachel a favor.

Therefore, the moment she saw the name, she used Morse code to inform Quintin to get in touch with Pearson. If she was correct, Dr.

Turner should have received a call from him by now.

"I'LL go and check whether Ivan brought your clothes from the car."

Rachel smiled, turned on her heel, and walked out of the bathroom.
