The lab codes didn't have to do much with Carson, but still, Carson wanted to know who modified the program.

Suddenly, something flashed through Joey's mind.

"May I ask you a question?"

"Yes."

"Is three hundred million dollars a lot of money?"

Carson was stunned to hear Joey mention three hundred million dollars.

He looked at Joey and asked, "How do you know that?"

"What do I know?" Joey acted innocent.

Carson could tell that Joey was acting innocent. He restrained his temper and asked in a deep voice, "Do you know something?"

"I find your question quite strange. What is it that you think I know? Also, you haven't answered my question."

Carson frowned and realized that Joey was deliberately trying to tantalize and threaten him.

"How do you know that someone stole three hundred million dollars from Victor's bank account?" Carson asked him.

"What?! Someone stole Mr. Sullivan's money?" Joey continued to act innocent.

“You know the man who stole the money, right? Or does it have something to do with you?" Carson continued to ask.

Joey blinked his big wide eyes.

"Why do you think it has something to do with me? This has nothing to do with me. I just asked whether that amount is huge or not. Do you think I stole the money?"

“This has nothing to do with you? Then how did you mention three hundred million dollars out of the blue?"

“I just asked casually." Joey was very calm. After a brief pause, he said, "But I do know one thing. It might have something to do with that."

Carson was eager to catch the hacker. Seeing that he was making some headway, he asked eagerly, “What is it?"

Joey looked at Carson. He pursed his lips and didn't say anything.

Carson waited for quite a while for Joey to say something. When he didn't, Carson urged, "Little guy."

"I can tell you, but I have a request," Joey said as he crossed his arms and squinted his eyes at Carson.

“What is it?"

"I want to go to the hospital."
