Millie heard the sound of her leaving but didn't look back.

"Come on, more barbecue! I want grilled squid!" Alexia called out, quickly getting swept back into the celebration.

Everyone joined in, while Millie and Myron lingered a little apart from the group. Myron studied her quietly before asking, "What's on your mind?"
