Norah climbed into the van and took the only vacant seat.

With the door shut, the van lurched into motion, its insides swaying from side to side.

"Tell me. What do you want from me?"

Norah sat with her arms crossed over her chest, displaying a calm demeanor with no trace of fear, seemingly unfazed by the ominous atmosphere inside the car.

The two men dropped their pretense. One of them said maliciously, “Someone has offered a million dollars for your eyes and a piece of your flesh."

The group leader, wearing sunglasses, said in a chilling tone, “We've secured a skilled surgeon who can ensure the removal of your eyes is painless. As for the part of flesh, you won't even miss it “Oh, so you accepted the money. Now I'm to lose my eyes and a part of my flesh?"

"Yes, if you cooperate, we'll make sure to be gentle."

Once Norah was in the car, the others didn't seem concerned about her escaping; they didn't restrict her movements in any way.

Glancing down, Norah noticed items like a rope and a spanner under the seat.

The glint of daggers caught her eye.

The group leader toyed with a dagger, the light reflecting off its blade into her eyes.

“You're so beautiful. I wouldn't want to mess up your face. You could still be quite valuable to some rich men, just with your looks."

He looked at Norah's hand dismissively and remarked, "Why would a woman want to be a doctor? Women should stay at home and enjoy the luxury of being cared for."

His words were steeped in sexism.

Norah simply sneered in response.

The scenery outside the window grew increasingly remote. Eventually, the vehicle stopped in front of a secluded farmhouse.

As soon as the car came to a stop, a figure emerged to greet them.

"Boss, welcome back. The doctor is all set."

They intended to remove Norah's eyes and a part of her flesh at this location.

Norah was pushed out of the car. She surveyed the surroundings of the farmhouse and mentally tallied the number present.

Counting the doctor, there were eleven people in total.

Feeling a sudden surge of calm, she walked into the building.

The awaiting doctor approached and announced, “Boss, we are ready to begin the procedure whenever you are."
