Chapter: 1332
Yolande offered an awkward smile. “Ah, right."
She and her brother had been monitoring Norah and her group through the surveillance cameras, believing they had gone undetected Norah offered a wry smile before swiftly changing the subject.
“Anyway, I owe you thanks for your assistance, Mr. Boyd. It won't be forgotten."
Marlin responded, “Glad to be of service."
“I'll be on my way now. We'll keep in touch later."
As they departed, Marlin's eyes lingered on Norah, filled with unspoken fondness.
Yolande elbowed her brother teasingly. “You might want to focus on finding yourself a wife instead."
It was clear Marlin stood no chance; Norah was far too popular among the eligible bachelors.
Brushing off her comment, Marlin maintained a stoic expression. "Mind your own business."
Yolande huffed, “If you weren't my brother, I wouldn't waste my advice on you. How would you Like to deal with Justin?"
“Norah hasn't specified that yet Seems she wants me to keep him confined until she needs him again"
Clearly, Marlin had a deep understanding of Norah.
On their journey back, Norah assigned Chayce a new mission.
“I can't make the trip to Celestia myself. Chayce, go and bring Ivy and her husband to Silverdale."
They were crucial witnesses, and it was imperative to keep them close Chayce nodded resolutely. "Don't worry, Miss. I'll bring them back."
Norah closed her eyes, resting while maintaining a firm tone. "Gilda, Chayce, whatever Iker and his family took from us, we're going to get it all back."
"Miss, you have our full trust." Gilda nodded.
Without resting, Chayce bought a ticket for the next available flight to Celestia after returning Norah to the ward. His goal was to locate Ivy and her husband and bring them back before the following evening.
Gilda and Chayce were Norah's most trusted aides, employed by her parents, and she had complete confidence in them.
In Norah's opinion, they were the most reliable people in the entire Wilson family.
With concern in her voice, Gilda remarked, "I hope Justin was truthful so that we'll be able to find Ivy. Iker is nothing short of despicable. How on earth could he abandon you when you were just a child?"
Norah's parents endured much hardship searching for her, but they passed away before they could reunite with her.
Affectionately patting Gilda's head, Norah said, “For Iker, personal gain always comes first. It's tragic that my parents didn't Live long enough to reunite with me."
Caylee had already returned to Surella at Norah's request. Since Norah was still recovering, Caylee's presence wasn't needed, and it was better for her to resume her previous duties. Once fully healed, Norah planned to visit her grandfather's family in Surella.
