Chapter: 180
Norah sneered, "I want to see them fall from grace. Another band was started to found. When they contact me, I can arrange a battle between them and Rosy Secret."
"Okay, I'll help you on it. We will defeat Rosy Secret!" Joanna was excited.
They spent over an hour at the Glamour Club, consuming multiple glasses of wine. In Norah's company, Joanna became intoxicated, her cheeks flushed with redness.
"Norah, you mentioned Sean would fetch you later. Are you planning to depart with him? Don't leave with me. Come with me instead. You..."
Joanna grasped Norah's arm, pleading, “Please, Norah, stay with me tonight."
Norah was a seasoned drinker and remained sober. She comforted the inebriated Joanna, “Stop drinking now. I'll arrange for someone to escort you home later."
“Norah, I genuinely believe Sean has feelings for you. Trust me..."
Joanna burped mid-sentence.
Recalling the photos she had received earlier, Norah displayed them to Joanna.
Joanna narrowed her eyes, scrutinizing the photos intently. Then, she smacked her forehead and blurted out, "Isn't that Amabel Morris? She's Spencer's older sister, who went overseas to study five years ago. Did she return? She was with Sean, and they looked adorable together. Who snapped these shots for you?"
Norah retrieved her phone nonchalantly. “Derek,” she replied casually.
“What? He snapped them and sent these photos to you? That's amusing! Why did he send you those photos?" Joanna chuckled.
"Well, he and Madeline assumed I was kept by Sean and sent these to me."
"So, by sending you these photos, they expected to see Sean ditch you soon? I don't know Sean well, but their minds are disgusting."
Joanna made a gagging motion, leaning on Norah's shoulder. "I recall Amabel. She's our age. She was a top student in college, majoring in finance. After graduation, she pursued postgraduate studies abroad. I never heard she knew Sean."
Joanna reminisced, though her thoughts were jumbled. "Yes, I remember there was no interaction between them."
Norah had no clue who Amabel was, and the name sounded unfamiliar.
She pressed her lips together. "Sean visited her, and they had dinner alone. They must be acquainted. Perhaps they're closer than we realize."
“I reckon Sean might be taken by her pretty face. Men are all visual creatures. It's true..." Joanna muttered.
“You said I was attracted by Amabel? How did I not know about that?"
A cold voice interrupted.
Norah froze at Sean's voice while Joanna continued in her drunk state, "Hey, who the hell are you? Did I say something wrong? Men are all about looks. Norah is stunning. That's why Sean and Kason are fond of her and treat her so well. I'm telling you..."
Norah hurriedly covered Joanna's mouth, shooting Sean an awkward smile. "Sean, don't mind her. She's drunk. She didn't know what she had said."
Flanked by four bodyguards, Sean settled across from Norah. "Mind if I join you?"
