Chapter: 304
Seeing Amabel in the role of Sean's secretary at Nexa Tech made Susanna's head spin. This was not how things were supposed to unfold.

Phillip was honest with Susanna about everything that happened the other day. He didn't hide anything, Susanna's lips curled up in disdain and she shoved him away. "Phillip! I misjudged you! I never expect you to cover for Sean with these words."

Hearing Phillip's words, Susanna was fuming. She never imagined that Phillip would convince Sean to allow Amabel to work at Nexa Tech.!

After all, Sean was opposed to the idea of Amabel staying in the company.

Susanna raised her head and peeked at Amabel, who was standing next to Sean. Amabel had worn a black and white professional suit, her hair gathered into a low ponytail. She looked gorgeous and her appearance contrasted sharply with Norah's. Amabel exuded the aura of a highly skilled woman.

Susanna bit her lower lip. She didn't want Amabel to work at Nexa Tech. She felt if Norah found out about this, it would definitely affect Sean and Norah's relationship. She was determined to get Sean and Norah together and would not allow anyone to cause a rift between them. She refused to let anyone ruin her efforts!

Phillip was pushed away so hard that he almost fell down. He stumbled back a few steps before he regained his balance and straightened his clothes. He was accustomed to Susanna's whimsical temper. Seeing her angry, he knew something must be on her mind again.

The commotion caused by Susanna and Phillip caught Sean's attention.

After confirming that they were fine, he redirected his attention to what Amabel was saying about the company.

"Mr. Scott, that's the end of my report for now. Do you have any instructions?" Amabel stood across the desk with her head down, her eyes on Sean as she spoke.

Amabel felt he was still as exceptional as ever. Like before, he still could make her heart flutter by just standing there.

“Inform the technical department to continue researching satellite— based technologies. Tell the marketing department to promote a different product. I want to see a marketing report this week."

“Okay. Amabel shot a glance at Susanna on the sofa and remarked, “Speaking of which, I haven't seen Susanna in a long time."

Before Amabel had gone abroad for further study, she had met Susanna a few times. She remembered their encounters clearly because Susanna was Sean's sister.

Susanna heard her name mentioned and stood up to approach Amabel.

“Miss, to be honest, I don't really remember you. Norah has always been by Sean's side, so I haven't paid attention to other people.”

With an exaggerated sigh, Susanna turned to her brother and asked, "Can you introduce her?"

Amabel's expression froze, and she quickly explained before Sean could, "I'm Amabel, from the Morris family of Glophia. I'm Spencer's elder sister."

“Oh, I see." Susanna pretended to suddenly recognize Amabel and exclaimed, “Amabel, why are you working as a secretary in Sean's small company? It doesn't live up to your status!"

Amabel had already sensed Susanna's hostility toward her by this point.

"I just returned from abroad and needed to find a job. Nexa Tech's offerings align with my expectations for future positions and suit my career goals, so I came here. It is completely unrelated to my status," Amabel replied lightly with a smile.

"I see. However, this company is a little small and not really suitable for you. Why don't you get a job at the Scott Group instead?"

Susanna tilted her head, appearing to be making a genuine suggestion.

But in reality, she was just being polite. She intended to reject Amabel's application to all Scott family companies once Amabel quit.
