Chapter: 942
"Norah, what's the issue between you two?"
However, Norah dismissed it lightly. “Just a minor disagreement.
Nothing significant."
"I implore you to grant me the opportunity to extend my sincerest apologies."
With pleading and charm, Yolande adeptly escorted Norah back to her room.
"Don't worry, Mr. Scott. We shall come back after changing her dress."
Yolande's two followers gazed upon Norah with profound admiration.
Through they had known Yolande for two years, they had never experienced such treatment. They deemed Norah incredibly fortunate to receive such treatment.
Rosalee glared at their retreating figures with intense hatred, knowing that her objective had been accomplished.
With Norah's departure from the party, she automatically presumed herself to be the focal point of the party. She resolved to forge new connections within the constrained timeframe with utmost effort.
"Take a look, which one do you like?" Yolande asked as she led Norah into her closet, revealing a stunning collection of dresses.
"If none of these catch your eye, there are plenty more new dresses in another closet. They're all brand new. I haven't worn any of them yet."

Norah wasn't concerned about the dress style. She simply chose one that she thought would suit her figure and put it on.
The wet clothes clinging to her body were uncomfortable, which was why she was eager to change into something else.
But the main reason she agreed was that Yolande was that person's sister. Based on what he had told her, Norah had a good impression of Yolande.
When Yolande saw Norah in the new dress, she was surprised.
“Wow, it looks amazing on you."
The dress was black, reaching mid-thigh. The bodice was adorned with lace, the waist was cinched, and the back featured a netting pattern, revealing Norah's skin in an enticing yet tasteful way.
The blend of lace and netting elements fused cuteness with allure, perfectly complementing Norah's demeanor.
"I didn't think much of this dress before," Yolande admitted. "I thought it wasn't beautiful, but now I realize it just wasn't right for me. It looks stunning on you."
“I misunderstood this brand," she added, circling around Norah.
Norah straightened the dress and said, “Thank you for lending me this dress. I'll return it to you tomorrow."
Yolande gestured to the display of clothes. "I have so many clothes.
