Back in the studio, as Kaitlin walked in, several employees crowded around her, their eyes alight with curiosity and whispers.

"Ms. Gilbert, are there plans to remarry Mr. Hewitt?"

“Is it really happening? Mr. Hewitt looked so devoted. Ms. Gilbert, you must send us invitations if you do decide to remarry!"

Kaitlin let out a weary sigh, grateful she hadn't let Alan come inside; the conversation would have been even more awkward.

“Enough with the rumors," she interjected firmly. "Those videos are just stirring the pot. I have no plans to marry him again."

At her words, a wave of disappointment swept through the crowd, but before they could press further, Phoebe ushered them away.

“Focus on your work. You've even got time to gossip!" Phoebe said to the employees.

Kaitlin looked visibly relieved. Once she was inside the office with Phoebe, Phoebe's demeanor shifted to match that of the other employees.

“Kaitlin, are you actually considering getting remarried?" Phoebe asked.

Kaitlin smirked and rolled her eyes. "No! So many people thought I was the other woman. It was his job to handle that! But he even invited me along. Turns out he planned to propose to me in front of everyone!"

The more she thought about it, the more irritated Kaitlin got. She slammed her glass down.

“I think Alan planned this all along. Luckily, I realized quickly and escaped before he could go through with it."

Phoebe clicked her tongue and chuckled with a knowing look. "But it doesn't seem like you're upset. You almost look like you're enjoying this!"

Kaitlin waved dismissively and turned serious. "Stop it. It's definitely not as simple as it seems. I suspect it's another one of Ashley's schemes!"

"I've had someone looking into it, but the paparazzo couldn't say who tipped him off. He just mentioned it was a man," Phoebe stated.

"Do you think Ashley wasn't behind it?" Kaitlin frowned and felt confused.

But who else would orchestrate something like this if not Ashley?

“We don't have any proof yet. I'll have my guys keep digging. Don't stress over this," Phoebe reassured Kaitlin.
