Chapter: 364
Phoebe responded with a shrug, “I'm just kidding. But seriously, you two have similar working styles. I always thought Denton is a lot like you."

Kaitlyn raised an eyebrow, puzzled. "I don't see it," she said, shaking her head dismissively.

"In many ways, like your personalities and behaviors," Phoebe explained. She got lost in thought for a moment. “Frankly, he's Like your male version. Isn't that fate?" she added with a chuckle. "Stop it," Kaitlyn retorted, slightly annoyed.

“There are plenty of people with similar work styles. How is that fate?"

Amused by her friend's antics, Kaitlyn leaned back on the sofa and stretched her hand to soothe her aching neck.

As her pregnancy progressed, her body felt increasingly cumbersome.

Hosting such a large event was proving exhausting.

Once the collaboration ended, she planned to rest at home and prepare for the baby's arrival.

Time was indeed flying.

While Kaitlyn reflected, Phoebe brought up Alan again.

"I heard that Hewitt Group has been really busy lately. They've been competing for the Royal Garden Road project in Osewood for a while now, but still no results," she said.

Kaitlyn frowned. Recently, she hadn't been in touch with Alan and was rarely out, leaving her out of the loop on such matters.

"Is it that serious?" Kaitlyn asked.

“It seems so. With things slow at the studio, maybe you should visit Hewitt Group?" Phoebe suggested.

She winked, playing the role of a matchmaker.

After resting for a bit, Kaitlyn heeded her friend's advice and ventured out.

Before heading to Hewitt Group, she stopped by her apartment to prepare a meal, planning to cook several dishes.

When she arrived at the office, Alan hadn't had Lunch yet.

"Kaitlyn, what brings you here?" he asked, visibly surprised.

He stood up and approached her.

"I came to have lunch with you," she responded, placing a lunch box on the table.

She opened it to release a tantalizing aroma.

"Did you make this yourself?" Alan asked, his brow furrowed with concern.

He was impressed but didn't want her exerting herself too much.
