“Miss Willis, Mr. Hewitt is busy right now. You may leave the documents with me," Dylan said courteously.

As Ashley handed over the papers, she suddenly slapped her forehead.

“Oh, an important issue just came to mind. I must speak with Alan personally," Ashley exclaimed urgently.

She stepped closer to Dylan.

"It's about Miguel," she whispered.

Dylan paused, uncertain.

"Miss Willis, please wait here. I will inform Mr. Hewitt," he responded.

"Thank you, please do." Ashley nodded in agreement.

A few minutes later, Dylan emerged from the office and ushered Ashley inside.

It had been a long time since Ashley had stepped into the CEO's office.

“Alan," she called out warmly upon seeing him.

She spoke his name with affection, but Alan did not respond. Instead, he looked up at her with a cool detachment.

“What do you need?" he asked.

"Alan, I've been following the recent news. I think Miguel is behind the false rumors. I trust you," she said.

Alan gave her a piercing look.
