“I met him twice, about a decade ago, but haven't seen him since," he responded.

Alan nodded in acknowledgment. "Since you've met him before, it makes things easier."

After a brief pause, Alan continued, "I'll create an opportunity for you. Should anyone inquire about the Aston Group, simply tell them the truth. There's no need to mention that I've already approached you. Is that clear?"

The two men appeared slightly puzzled but agreed to comply.
