Chapter: 46
She had pegged Quintin as merely a pretty face, but his designs were genuinely striking.

Kaitlin, having previously seen Quintin's work, wasn't as astonished.

“Phoebe, are you sold now?"

“Absolutely, I was never opposed to begin with."

Phoebe's smile was unstoppable. The studio had indeed uncovered a treasure.

Quintin didn't press on the matter of salary or benefits, merely suggesting they compensate him as they deemed appropriate.

Phoebe decided to pay him based on the projects he handled.

Once they settled the basic terms, Phoebe designated a desk for him right at the heart of the office, visible to all.

Quintin eyed the desk from a distance. “Ms. Tucker, may I request something?"

“Of course."

"I'd Like to work in this office."

Kaitlin was momentarily puzzled.

What was he implying?

"Ms. Tucker, is it possible to accommodate this?" Quintin continued.

Phoebe turned to Kaitlin, seeking her input with a silent glance.

"No issue at all. If this office is your preference, feel free to move in. Phoebe and I can share another."

He had been a major celebrity after all, so his request for a private office wasn't out of Line.

When she finished speaking, Kaitlin began gathering her belongings, preparing to clear out the space for Quintin.

“Kaitlin, actually, I was hoping we could share the office," Quintin clarified.

At his words, Phoebe drew a knowing grin.

"Kaitlin, my office is quite cramped. It makes more sense for you two to share one. Alright, it's decided. I'll have someone bring in an extra desk," Phoebe concluded, while Kaitlin was still processing the sudden change.

Quintin acknowledged Phoebe's decision with a nod. “Thank you, Ms. Tucker."

Kaitlin, ever accommodating, offered her assistance. “Do you need anything? I'm here to help you settle in."

Some designers still preferred the tactile feel of paper and pen for sketching out their creative ideas.
