They hadn't been chatting long when Phoebe burst through the door, her expression clouding over at the sight of their discussion.

"Denton, what a pleasure to see you," Phoebe said, her tone dripping with sarcasm.

Denton touched his nose, clearly uncomfortable.

Kaitlin watched the tension between them and, hoping to keep Phoebe from making a scene, she quickly got up and whispered to her, “Phoebe, could you give us a minute? I need to speak with him alone."
