"Phoebe, try to relax. What if you took a step back and gave him some space? Perhaps with a bit more distance, you might realize he isn't the right one for you."

Phoebe pouted, feeling slightly offended. "I do want to get to know him better and let feelings develop, but he's avoiding me now. How can I get close to him? I suspect he's just put off because I'm older!"

Kaitlin sighed and moved to comfort her by taking her hand. "Phoebe, have confidence in your charm. Don't look so down; it doesn't suit you."

This coaxed a smile from Phoebe. "You're right, Kaitlin. He's just one man. I have plenty of admirers from here and even from another country! What's so special about Denton anyway?"
