"Not yet." Denton shook his head.

Kaitlin exhaled deeply. "You sent mixed signals back in Estresa. An apology is overdue," she advised. "If you're not into her, you need to clarify that. It's unprofessional to leave things ambiguous, especially since you need to collaborate with us."

Denton nodded, his face a blend of resignation and discomfort. "I was hoping to find the right moment, but—"
