"You and Denton..." Kaitlin hesitated, noticing a distinct change in Phoebe's gaze.

"Don't be curious," Phoebe interjected. "I've made it clear to him that our relationship will be purely professional going forward. What happened last night won't repeat itself."

She then lowered her head, turned on her computer, and began to prepare for the day's work.

Just then, the designer entered with a painting, greeted them both, and was about to discuss her work.

Kaitlin blinked away her thoughts and sighed quietly to herself.
