Brynn finally disclosed her true motives. On the other end of the line, Kaitlin's eyes darted toward Molly.

"I can't interfere with Alan's work, Brynn. Just focus and put your all into the project, you'll manage fine," Kaitlin gently declined.

Brynn inhaled sharply, her frustration mounting. "Kaitlin, we're close, aren't we? I'm only asking for a small favor. You know I've just moved to Osewood. If I flounder on this project, it might spell trouble for me."
