Kaitlin's expression turned skeptical, and she chuckled awkwardly, preparing to turn Janey down politely.
"Miss Natt, you're an incredibly talented designer with a distinct style. I'm flattered you thought of me, but I'm not sure how I can assist you," Kaitlin began, her tone gentle but hesitant. "You need to believe in yourself, Janey. And with the showcase tomorrow, it's too late for major revisions."
Janey's shoulders slumped, and she let out another sigh. “Am I being too forward, Ms. Gilbert? Honestly, no one else has offered helpful guidance, and I'm at my breaking point. You're my last resort," she admitted, her eyes pleading for understanding.
