Julie supported Kaitlin's decision. "Why not attend? These people are eager to see our family fail. We shouldn't give them the satisfaction of seeing us back down.”

Kaitlin nodded in agreement. "Julie, you're right. Even with our father in the hospital, it doesn't mean they can walk all over us. I'll go with Denton, and we'll deal with whatever comes up."
