Chapter: 90
“Bitch, do you think you would have come willingly if I hadn't forced you?"

"Miguel, what are you saying? Of course, I'm happy to see you. Please, untie me. I won't run away," Lilliana pleaded.

Despite Miguel's unpredictable temper, he could be a valuable ally if she could win his favor.

At the very least, she could secure a comfortable life for herself.

“Miguel, it's painful being tied up like this." Lilliana did her best to sound fragile and edged closer to Miguel's feet.

"Untie her."

Lilliana's face brightened immediately. Once freed, she quickly knelt beside his wheelchair. "Miguel, I've missed you terribly. You haven't been back in ages."

Miguel observed her display, amused by the absurdity. "Haven't you been living comfortably here? You once worked at the Hewitt Group's studio, your career on track. Did Alan tire of you and cast you aside?"

Lilliana's expression hardened. She hadn't anticipated Miguel being so well-informed.

Was he also aware of her attempts to charm Alan?

Before she could piece it together, Miguel seized her chin, twisting her face. “Bitch, how could you betray me? I tasked you with seducing Alan to destroy him, and you ended up falling for him? Tell me, how should we settle this?"

Lilliana's eyes widened in fear, and she shook her head frantically, pleading, “I-I didn't.”

"Do you think I'm an idiot? Worthless!"

Miguel abruptly let go, sending Lilliana sprawling backward, the red marks on her face now more pronounced and adding to her pitiful appearance.

"Miguel, truly, I didn't. You know Alan is untouchable. I never had a chance against him. He's only interested in Ashley."

"Really?" Miguel mused, his mind drifting back to the welcome dinner.

Kaitlin had indeed transformed. She was now a figure of intrigue.

"Worthless is just that, worthless. You've become useless. So, tell me, how would you prefer to vanish?"

Lilliana's voice trembled with fear. "Miguel, please, no! Give me another chance, I beg you!"

In her eyes, Miguel epitomized ruthlessness, a man who acted without a thought of the repercussions. If he wanted her to vanish, he would not falter.

“Another chance?"

"Yes, another chance. Miguel, remember our past. You can't just treat me like this."

With a cold sneer, Miguel brushed away Lilliana's desperate hands.

"You were nothing more than a means to an end. Do you think you deserve more?"
