As Lena reached the elevator, she nearly collided with Stella stepping out. Stella caught sight of her uneasy expression and immediately sensed trouble.

"Lena, what's wrong? Are you alright?" The sight of Stella made Lena's stomach twist with fresh anxiety.

Drawing in a shaky breath, Lena stuttered, "Stella, really, I'm fine. | just .. | said too much and ended up upsetting Mr. Briggs. I'm so sorry, | didn't mean it that way. | promise I'll keep quiet from now on!"

Lena rushed out the apology, eager to erase any doubt from Stella's mind.
