Chapter: 1014
Before Nikolas could react, Aimee was already dialing Henson.
"Dad, I need you to pick me up from Nikolas' house. He spent the night out with another woman. We've just broken up."
"What?" Henson sounded puzzled, but quickly replied, “Alright, Aimee, I'm on my way. Wait for me!"
Nikolas was shocked and muttered under his breath, "Fuck! Aimee, was that really necessary?”
She had just told her father. All his efforts to explain were now useless!
“Why shouldn't I? We're breaking up. Nothing you say is going to change that!"
Aimee felt she had been more than patient!
Siena had repeatedly tried to stir trouble. Since Nikolas had been decent and truthful before, Aimee didn't argue with Nikolas about that.
But that didn't mean she didn't care about it at all!
She couldn't overlook it when her boyfriend picked up his ex-girlfriend and then trivialized it as just giving her a ride.
Aimee believed she had been an exceptional girlfriend!
“So even if nothing happened with Siena last night, you're still breaking up with me?"
"Yes! I'm through with it." Aimee had extended her trust once already!
Since Nikolas hadn't cherished it, she saw no reason to offer him another chance.
"Do you even love me? How could you call your dad over this, Aimee?"
On his way back, Nikolas had braced himself for any reaction from Aimee, even if it meant begging for her forgiveness.
But he hadn't anticipated that Aimee would truly want to end things.
“First, call your dad and clear up the misunderstanding. Then I'1L explain everything to you, okay?"
Nikolas was increasingly anxious. He had worked hard to make a good impression on Aimee's parents, and now it had crumbled instantly, irreparably.
Yet Aimee remained resolute, silently waiting for her father to arrive and take her away.
"Aimee! please, I'm begging you. Call your dad and ask him not to come. I'll take you back myself after we talk, okay?"
Aimee turned away, refusing to engage with him.
Desperate, Nikolas pulled out his phone to call Henson, but he hesitated, his finger hovering over the button.
He knew Henson wouldn't listen.
