Chapter: 1085
She didn't need to ponder it; clearly, he had brought her here.

After freshening up and regaining her senses, she spotted a note from Jonathan on the table.

"I've Left Odonset. Next time you feel like drinking, call Jayson to join you, so you don't end up too drunk to even make a call."

Bethany didn't know what to say.

He actually suggested she reach out to Jayson?

Bethany was quick to catch the implication.

It seemed he had really let go.

Maybe that was for the best...

Bethany cast her gaze downward and stood silently until her legs felt numb.

Thinking about Aimee's troubles, she swiftly dialed her number.

To her astonishment, it was Nikolas who picked up!

"Hello?"

“Nikolas? Why do you have Aimee's phone?"

Nikolas laughed softly from the other end. “It took all night to soothe her. She was very upset and probably worn out; she's sleeping now. I'll have her call you back once she's awake."

Bethany sensed something amiss.

She was aware that Aimee still harbored feelings for Nikolas, and with a baby on the horizon, it seemed only natural for them to patch things up.

Besides, Aimee would be safe as long as she was with Nikolas.

“Okay." After pondering for a moment, Bethany remarked, "Nikolas, you better have resolved things with your ex. Aimee is quite sensitive, and you know how challenging it was for her to approach you initially."

"I get it! Don't worry. I'll sort everything out with Siena."

Bethany's expression grew tense.

She felt that Nikolas' words weren't that simple, sensing an undertone of spite.

Yet, he delivered his assurance with a smile.

“Aimee is pregnant. Make sure to take good care of her, particularly her diet. She's been overly tired, eating less as a result. Watch out for that."

“Yeah, I'll hire the best nutritionist for her! She's carrying my child; I wouldn't dream of neglecting her."
