“Daddy! I miss you so much! Rowan missed you too!" Nola exclaimed, her excitement bubbling over like a pot on the boil. She acted as if she hadn't seen her father in weeks.

Watching the scene unfold, Nikolas couldn't help but sigh, a trace of wistfulness in his voice. "There was a time when I couldn't even dream of this-both of us here, surrounded by our own children."
