Rowan, more reserved than his sister, approached and tugged at Jonathan's shirt. “Dad, my new system has a bug. When can you help me fix it?"

"You've got something you can't fix?" Jonathan raised an eyebrow, playing along.

“How old do you think I am? Of course, there are lots of things I can't fix yet," Rowan responded, slightly embarrassed.

Jonathan could see his son was making an effort to connect. Like his father, Rowan was stubborn and less inclined to openly share his feelings compared to Nola.

"Alright, I'll check it out when I get back from work."
