"You once offered to take the poison for her. I'm willing to agree now. If you take it and the poison takes effect within a month, I'LL give her the final antidote," Samira proposed, knowing this was her last card to play.

She waited for his response, but instead of the agreement she expected, Jonathan let out a laugh. “Don't bother."
