But before that could happen, she fell asleep from exhaustion, still tied to the bed.

When the man emerged from the bathroom, he had the scent of fresh soap clinging all over him.

He padded silently to the bed where Samira lay, in the grip of deep sleep. He studied her for a moment, then dressed without a sound and left the room.
